Prof. Eberhard Grube

M.D.

Dr Eberhard Grube is Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Department of Cardiology and Angiology at Siegburg Heart Centre, Germany and Consulting Professor, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Angiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Dr Grube received his first degree in Medicine at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn.

 

Prof. William A. Gray

M.D.

William A. Gray, M.D., is Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Director of Endovascular Services at the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapy at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Gray is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology, and specializes in coronary and peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Gray has been principal investigator for clinical and commercial trials, and a consultant and device/procedure proctor for medical corporations.

Dr. Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, and his M.D. degree from Temple University’s School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Gray’s postgraduate training included an internship and residency in internal medicine at Brown University / Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, where he also completed a clinical/research fellowship in cardiology and an interventional fellowship in cardiology.

 

Prof. Horst Sievert

M.D.

Dr. Horst Sievert is the Director of the CardioVascular Center Frankfurt, Sankt Katharinen, and the Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Vascular Medicine of the Sankt Katharinen Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. He is also an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine/Cardiology at the University of Frankfurt.

Dr. Sievert received his medical degree at the University Frankfurt, Germany. After training in internal medicine, nephrology and intensive care medicine, he completed a fellowship in cardiology and vascular medicine under the direction of Dr. Martin Kaltenbach. He became director of the Department of Interventional Cardiology and Angiology of the Heart Center Rotenburg in 1990, senior consultant at the Bethanien Hospital in Frankfurt in 1993 and director of the CardioVascular Center Frankfurt, Sankt Katharinen in 2003.

He's been the PI of a number of clinical trials and has authored more than 130 manuscripts and 500 abstract s in peer reviewed journals, 50 books and book contributions,. He has also delivered more than 450 invited lectures around the world. Dr. Sievert has personally performed more than 16,000 PCIs and 6,000 peripheral angioplasties.

 

Dr Thierry Lefevre is Head of the Interventional Cardiology Department and Head of Research at the Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud at Institut Hospitalier Jacques Cartier in Massy, France.

He was previously a part-time hospital practitioner in the Cardiology Department at the Hopital de Pontoise, France, where he was in charge of the intensive care unit (ICU), echocardiography and interventional cardiology (emergency angioplasty procedures).

Dr. Lefevre is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and a fellow of the Society for Angiography and Interventions. He has been the author or co-author of more than 90 articles and 180 abstracts in peer-review journals since 1985 and has also been the guest speaker at several major symposia and scientific sessions.

Dr Lefevre earned his degree in medicine from the University of Paris V in 1985, also being awarded a silver medal for his thesis on left coronary ventricular microfistula.
